Does it work in a Mac

We did not write the program for a Mac but today you can run it in a Mac, the following emails are from an users that did  install it successfully in a Mac.

I am now renting FT and can confirm that it works under Mac OS X using Parallels to host Windows XP as a guest system. There was one small hitch to overcome. At first FT would not proceed, stating that the key was not found. It was necessary to go to Parallels Desktop menus -> Devices -> USB and select USB Super Pro. Windows then picked up the new hardware and after that FT started up perfectly. FT works well with Interactive Brokers using the Windows version of TWS. I have also been able to use Bracket Trader and the Woodie's CCI chat software from within the Parallels system. Everything is very fast and behaves much like it would on a Windows box. I hope that this will help you if another potential user asks about running FT on an Intel Mac.

The recent difficulties that I experienced when Parallels upgraded itself taught me more about how to deal with that system than I thought I wanted to know. I am passing on a method that I found so that you can have it in your files to help others who may be having similar problems.
The issue is how to get FTGT running on Parallels 8.0 (or other versions) to recognize the key. Here's how to do that.

-Plug the key into a USB port, which may be on a hub.
-In the far upper left of the MAC, left click on the Apple symbol.
-Select "About This Mac".
-Select the "More Info..." button on the bottom of the page.
-Select "Storage" from the tabs on the upper left.
-You will see an icon for the detected "UltraPro"key as you scroll down the page.
-Select the Windows version that you are using and press the 'alt' key to connect the key to that version.
